Salt & Straw, a Portland-based ice cream company, recently introduced a new flavor of vegan, campfire-inspired ice cream -- the 'Berries, Beans, & BBQ Sauce.' It features a unique blend of ingredients for a tantalizing taste made from white bean-based ganache, spicy strawberry BBQ sauce and a black raspberry ice cream base.
The Berries, Beans, & BBQ Sauce ice cream is the perfect addition to any hot, summer day. "This camping series dives right into our memories from childhood, all piled in a van, spending our summer nights around the campfire with friends and family," Salt & Straw CEO and co-founder Kim Malek said. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the National Park Foundation to ensure future generations can enjoy a campfire with family and friends.
