Popeyes Has Launched Its Cajun Flounder Sandwich

Popeye's is adding its very first fish sandwich to its menu: the Cajun Flounder Sandwich. The sandwich takes inspiration from the chain's ever-popular classic fried chicken sandwich, and features the same toppings and buttery brioche bun. Unlike the chicken sandwich, Popeye's tops the Cajun Flounder Sandwich off with a creamy tartar sauce to bring out the light fish flavor.

President Sami Siddiqui spoke to the launch, stating "After seeing the response to our Chicken Sandwich in 2019, we are excited to deliver yet another delicious sandwich to our fans that is sure to reset industry standards," and "At Popeyes, we don’t take shortcuts on quality and strive to ensure our ingredients are the best of the best. That’s why we’re proud to be serving up the most authentic, Cajun Flounder Sandwich in QSR."

Consumers can order the sandwich nationwide from US Popeyes restaurants.
