Burton and Mountain Dew Team Up to Create Sustainable Clothing

Snowboard company Burton and Mountain Dew have teamed up to create a snowboarding apparel collection made from sustainable processes and materials. While the complete collection is still in the works, the two brands have been exploring the creation of outerwear and clothing using recycled plastic bottles and have so far released a line of sustainable tees.

The Burton and Mountain Dew T-shirts are available in three styles: 'Apparatus,' 'Flake' and 'Chairway to Heaven.' All made from 50% recycled plastic bottles and 50% organic cotton and priced at $27 each, the shirts feature creative drawings that incorporate the Burton logo. For example, the "'Apparatus’ style features a drawing of an imaginary machine that is converting plastic bottles into recycled PET pellets, which are ‘snowing’ down into the shape of Burton’s classic mountain logo," describes Popsop.
