Designer Frédéric Richard did give his office furnishing a smooth tabletop, supported by two sturdy oak wood legs at the front and a pair of white-painted metal ones at the back. The slender rear posts are barely visible, making it look like the Bureau B011 is impossibly balanced. Furthermore, the storage cubbies beneath the work surface are formed with slanted timber panels. These zigzag and visibly offset the straight line established above.
