Fashion House Scholarship Grants

Burberry's Scholarship Program is Expanding

Brands are still learning how to use their platform and funds to foster diversity and inclusivity, and now Burberry's scholarship program will be expanded to specifically help students from "underrepresented communities."

Currently, the program offers grants to students attending Parsons School of Design in New York City, Institute Français de la Mode in Paris and Central Saint Martins in London. Undergrad programs at these schools typically focus in art and design, with students boasting degrees in anything from textile design to fashion communication. It hasn't yet been detailed how the designer fashion house will be reallocating its funds, however in an official statement Burberry's Chief People Officer said ""In order to truly diversify the talent we bring into this industry, we have to meaningfully commit to diversifying our talent pipeline."
