The Norway House Has a Burberry Paint Job

Norwegian artist and painter Jens Werner transformed what once was a public toilet building in Larvik, Norway, into a house that now is making a fashion statement. According to Daily MailOnline, it took several weeks and cost thousands of pounds for him to repaint his house in the Burberry signature plaid pattern of beige, black and red.

It appears from looking at the posed picture of him sitting in the window, with a big smile on his face, that Jens Werner is proud of his Burberry paint job indeed.  When asked what possessed him to do it, Werner said that he woke up one morning and thought it would be "a fun idea" and further commented that he turned his home into a "gathering place for happy people [with a] peace-on-earth-mentality and art-loving people."

I also noticed that he painted his website on the top of the house, what a clever idea for free advertising. The author of the article makes it sound so negative, he is literally ‘mad about plaid’. I think it is a fun and lighthearted idea that will draw attention, and become a positive addition to the town of Larvik.

If I ever visit Norway, I will be sure to stop and visit Jens Werner to tell him that he is a man after my own Burberry heart!
