Gilded Building Balconies

The UNStudio Skyscraper in Brussels Features a Luxe Golden Design

UNStudio is a Dutch-based architecture firm that recently put together a series of residential and retail skyscrapers that feature gilded building balconies that add a level of luxury and opulence to the architecture's facade. The buildings are known as Le Toison d'Or -- translating to mean "golden fleece" -- are located in the downtown district of Brussels, Belgium.

Le Toison d'Or buildings are a combination of contemporary design paired with luxe detailing to bring an air of elegance and sophistication to the space. While the balconies aren't made from real gold, they are fashioned out of aluminium planks covered in a golden coloring. The balconies from the various levels of the building come together to form a teardrop shape along the side of the skyscraper that adds an artistic element to the space.
