The Buckeye Bullet Sets the Battery-Powered Land Speed Record

The Buckeye Bullet is an ongoing project by the Ohio State University that has already broken the two-way land speed on Hydrogen fuel cells. This awesome vehicle has just broken the battery-powered land speed record, reaching 291mph.

This model was developed in collaboration with electric car manufacturer Venturi. While the Buckeye Bullet was able to hit 291mph, it is only a testing prototype for a new car this coming year, which probably won't go as fast as its predecessor.
