New Balance Unveils New Rainier Low in 'Glazed Ginger' Colorway

New Balance has revealed a new brown leather hiking shoe in the Rainier model in a 'Glazed Ginger' colorway. The hiking shoe also takes design inspiration from the Allagashmodel, which was first launched in the 80s era and was kept in the New Balance archives. Since then, it has made a comeback after a surge of popularity in shoes that mix lifestyle and hiking designs combined.

The hiking shoe contains premium brown leather overlays that are also placed on the mudguards, medial panels, ankles, and heel counters, while the dark red colors are on the rest. The New Balance branding logo is placed in the "NB" design on the quarters. There is also a New Balance branding logo on the black badge placed on the tongue. The eyelets are replaced with metal clasps as part of the lacing system, and the bottom is colored in black rubber Vibram soles for additional traction. The hiking shoe will be available on March 29 for $160.
