Broken Bottle Beer Packaging Will Start a Bar Fight

Not every brew is everyone's cup of tea, and as such the design of Broken Bottle Beer packaging was conceived as a clever way to warn wimps of this beverage's intensity.

Student Oliver Lan came up with this six-pack concept which visually captures the literal meaning of the dark ale brand's name. Going beyond this, he attached the tagline "A strong hitting bear," leading consumers to conjure images of cracked glass bottles and rowdy bar brawls.

The execution of this project is spot on. A rough aesthetic is created with a weathered cardboard box, sporting a torn handle that's taped closed. The vessels themselves have white bandages wrapped around their necks, and all of the labeling is fragmented with splatters of red ink as blood. Broken Bottle Beer packaging truly tells the drinker that this alcohol is not for the faint of heart.
