The Breuninger Store Installation by John Breed is Vibrantly Fun

The Breuninger Store installation by John Breed is a bold sculptural piece embracing a woman's addiction to shoe shopping. The vibrantly fun art piece is made up of shoe-sporting legs colored in rainbow hues. The leggy elements make up an eye-catching art installation sure to wow the retailer's visitors.

Resembling a kaleidoscope, the Breuninger Store installation takes over the label's Stuttgart, Germany, store. The shop's modern interior was transformed from a run-down factory space and has been proclaimed as the largest footwear store in Europe.

Inspired by the shoe shopping craze, artist John Breed created 145 fiber glass legs and repeated the elements in a multitude of technicolored hues. Breed's sculpture aims to channel a classic Medusa head image, where snakes have been replaced by shoe-wearing legs.
