HereFeed is a Social Media App That Tracks Breaking News

Being able to geo-map breaking news is the latest in news software. It's one thing to be able to know what's happening at any given time, but it's even better to know where it's happening precisely.

The app is called HereFeed and it will group photos taken on Instagram and show them as pink bubbles of varying size based on geo-tagging. If a big event is going on in a specific area and many people are taking pictures of it then there will be big bubbles coming out of that particular area.

The app can go beyond simply displaying breaking news though as it can allow people to get an insight into the various places around them, such as restaurants and attractions around the city.
