British artist, designer and author Dominic Wilcox recently created a series of playful breakfast accessories that encourage children to eat in the morning. For some children, breakfast is the last thing on their mind when they wake up. Wilcox decided to tackle this problem by making breakfast more appealing -- turning the most important meal of the day into a playful experience that children would look forward to.
Working in collaboration with Kellogg's, Wilcox came up with seven different breakfast accessories that put an unexpected twist on the traditional morning meal. Each of the devices is designed to move the child from their bedroom to the breakfast table in the most fun way possible. For children that frequently oversleep, there is a wireless talking pillow that allows family members to rouse kids from a deep slumber. For children who make it to the table, there are a number of other playful breakfast accessories to choose from including an energy- detecting spoon, a Soggy-O-Meter bowl that monitors cereal sogginess levels and even a food serving drone.
