Piet Debuts Its Spring/Summer 2019 Line on the São Paulo Runway

As one of the most influential designers on the local scene, Pedro Andrade debuts Piet's Brazilian streetwear collection during São Paulo Fashion Week. The Spring/Summer 2019 is dubbed 'Montanha' which, translated from Portuguese, means 'Mountain.'

The silhouettes are largely utilitarian, boasting rugged designs, durable fabrics, and utility-focused elements. For Spring/Summer 2019, Pedro Andrade focused on bringing brand heritage to the forefront and thus, he used Piet's inaugural logo as one of the driving motifs for the Brazilian streetwear range.

In terms of materials, Andrade employed "traditional fabrics like wool and linen" with Cordura nylon. Due to this technical construction and the utilitarian silhouettes, Piet's Spring/Summer 2019 Brazilian streetwear line-up can be worn in urban environments, as well as during hiking and camping activities.
