These Sugar Biscuits are Decorated to Look Like a Miniature Bowl of Ramen

Chef Amber Spiegel, also known as SweetAmbs, recently put together a sugar cookie recipe that features a realistic design of a bowl of ramen noodles made from sugary decorations. The cookies are designed to look like the traditional Asian fare with each of the toppings made deceivingly from icing and candies.

The dish begins with the sugar cookies rolled into circular discs. The biscuits are then topped with a layer of white icing around the perimeter to recreate the outline of the soup bowl as seen from an aerial perspective. Beige icing is used to create curly noodles and a candied glazed is applied to give the illusion of a liquid broth. Then customary toppings such as boiled egg and onions are added using candies replicas.
