PBS Digital Studios Creates a Bob Ross Tribute Video

This Bob Ross Tribute is the second in a series of remixed PBS icons. Created by the Symphony of Science’s John D. Boswell for PBS Digital Studios, the remix features the iconic television painting instructor Bob Ross. As the the creator and host of The Joy of Painting, a show that ran from 1983 to 1994, Ross would break down the art of oil painting in a few simple steps that anyone could follow. Using a wet-on-wet technique, Ross would capture the imagination of viewers by creating majestical landscapes.

In this remix entitled Happy Little Clouds, the beautiful words of Ross are immortalized to a melodic track. Advice such as, "everyday is a good day when you paint" and, "we don’t make mistakes just happy accidents," are some of the inspiring lines in this Bob Ross Tribute.
