The Bluesky App is Only Available by Invitation

Jock Dorsey's alternative to Twitter, the Bluesky app is now available to users only by invitation and expands to Android devices after it arrived in the App Store earlier this year in February. The app has features including the ability to search for and follow other users, create posts including photos, and more. It currently has a limited amount of users and is still lacking social features including direct messaging.

CEO Jay Graber explains that "For developers, an open marketplace of algorithms will provide the freedom to experiment with and publish algorithms that anyone can use. For users, the ability to customize their feed will give them back control of their most valuable resource: their attention."
