Blocks by Fabien Nissels Captures Playfully Surreal Positions

The human body might be a wondrous thing, but it is often limited by tendons, bones and an overall static nature; Blocks by Fabien Nissels has found a way to bypass these limitations. It revolves around images of the Switzerland-based photographer's friend, Johan, which have been printed on different sized blocks. These blocks come together to form his body, yet thanks to their modularity, they can be arranged and rearranged in surreal ways.

From acrobatic-like stances to downright impossible poses, Blocks by Fabien Nissels re-imagines the capabilities of the human body in fun and imaginative ways. Nissels writes, "There is no photoshop cheating, our modular man really went to all these places and always asked for souvenir pictures, except maybe the one when he was on the toilets."
