The Blink 182 HTC Status Commercial is Badass in Blue

The new Blink 182 HTC Status commercial only serves to further strengthen the connection between one of the biggest bands of the early 2000s and the largest provider of fixed telephony in the United States.

The Blink 182 HTC Status ad features the band's three members -- Tom Delonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker -- engaged in standard garden work (...because really, what else would they be doing?) when they begin to illuminate a blue light. Travis Barker is the first to speak up and wonder aloud why they've turned the depressive hue. At that point, a passerby explains the HTC Status is the first and only phone to feature a Facebook Share button on the phone that glows blue whenever you engage with the social media service.
