Matthew Bromley, the illustrator behind Blast Skates, brings together skateboarding and funky art into a colorful union.
Bromley created his own skate label, Blast Skates and this week he's launching three new British-made boards featuring artwork from James Jarvis, Marcus Oakley and Jon Boam.
Bromley believes he's finally found the perfect balance between his two worlds: skateboarding and art. Blast Skates plans to release three new boards every year. It's all part of the Chronological Series plan. Each year, Blast Skates will release three boards created by three artists following the same theme as well as a new comic by illustrator and skater Kyle Platts.
Bromley hopes the colorful and artistic skateboards will support British skateboard culture.
