Razer Released a 75% Version of its BlackWidow V4 Mechanical Keyboard

The BlackWidow V4 75% is a compact, hot-swappable mechanical keyboard from Razer, a leading gaming hardware company. It features a 75-percent layout, which is slightly smaller than a tenkeyless (TKL) layout, but still includes a function row and arrow keys. The keyboard has an aluminum top plate, a detachable leatherette wrist rest, and a multi-function roller and media keys for convenient control. The keyboard also supports Razer Chroma RGB lighting, with per-key customization and side underglow.

The keyboard comes with Razer Orange tactile switches pre-installed, which are quieter than clicky switches but still offer a satisfying tactile bump. However, the keyboard’s hot-swappable design allows users to easily change the switches for any 3- or 5-pin switches of their choice, using the included switch and keycap puller. The keyboard also boasts a high polling rate of up to 8000 Hz, which means it can register keystrokes faster than most keyboards. The BlackWidow V4 75% is available now in black for $189.99 USD, and will be released in white in mid-September for $199.99 USD. Razer also sells standalone packs of its mechanical switches for $24.99 USD each.
