Deceased Dining Restaurants

This Bizarre Restaurant Allows Guests to Eat Among the Dead

In the modern day, bizarre restaurants have become more commonplace. This is because people now seek more than just food -- they seek experience. This restaurant called The New Lucky restaurant allows its guests to eat in the presence of the deceased.

In Ahmedabad, India, the owner Krishan Kutti erected his restaurant over a burial ground. This isn't new as you often hear about buildings being erected on top of burial grounds, but it's a different case when the restaurant itself is built with the graveyard in the middle.

The coffins are all above ground and surrounded by metal railings to ensure that they are not defiled or disrespected by the guests. The idea is haunting, but as far as bizarre restaurants go, this one is one of the most unique.
