Bird Launched a Navigation App Named Bird Maps in Paris and Tel Aviv

Bird created a new navigation app, named Bird maps, which will help riders find bike lanes for the duration of their journey. The Bird app can help riders navigate in Paris and Tel Aviv, and it will be both iOs and Android devices. Users of the app will be automatically directed to bike lanes, large roads, or paths, in order to optimize the riding experience for the user.

The app runs on software that was developed by Trailze, which is an Urban mobility startup operating in Isreal. If the app is successful in Paris and Telibib it may be expanded to work in other cities in the future.

Patrick Studener, the head of Bird EMEA, made a statement about the app, "With millions of people embracing shared electric micromobility and cities everywhere committing more resources to the development of bike and micromobility lanes, we wanted to ensure that riders could more easily navigate and utilize city infrastructure."
