This Colorful Bird Architecture Shows that Man Isn't the Only Artist

Bird architecture usually comes in the form of humans trying to create something with a bird theme. These structures though, called bowers, show that birds have a little bit of flair to them as well.

Peacocks and flamingos are usually the go to when people talk about colorful birds, but a lesser known bird called the bowerbird is also quite vibrant. These images show the structures that the bowerbirds make when trying to court a mate, showing that even in the animal kingdom you still have to impress the lady with something to be considered an ideal match.

The structures are very colorful and elaborate, they're even free standing which is impressive for a gathering of sticks. Bird architecture may be a rarity but these images show that they're very stylish.
