‘Climax' High Performance Handcrafted Concept Car On Tour

The Climax Supercar is a stunning British Sports Car, powered by E85 bioethanol. The Climax will be part of the Salon Privé, the UK’s Luxury Super Car Event & Concours d’Elégance at the Hurlingham Club from the 21st to the 24th of July 2009.

Inspired by the 1950’s Cooper Climax F1, the handcrafted two-seater sports car is an ultra lightweight work of art with incredible performance.

A flex-fuel capable, Prodrive-tuned version of Subaru’s latest turbocharged boxer four cylinder engine, which is rated at over 27 mpg, powers the vehicle. The initial production run of 100 is being marketed at about $135K per car.
