Crowdsourced Laugh Tracks

Retrack's Big Bang Theory Laugh Track Will Be Fan-Generated

There are tons of fans of the Big Bang Theory, but there are also those who have pointed out the awkward and forced nature of the Big Bang Theory laugh track. In an effort to rally BBT fans together and change this for the upcoming season of the show, the Retrack project has been put in motion.

With Retrack, fans are able to record their own laughs online in response to some of the funniest moments to the show. Laugh tracks are key to making the funniest moments of a show seem even funnier, however since laugh tracks have been around for so long, some of the laughs that you hear on today's shows actually come from about 65 years ago. This project aims to collect authentic, fan-generated laughs for the September 22nd season 8 premiere of the Big Bang Theory on CBS.
