Krispy Kreme's Times Square Location Serves an Exclusive Big Apple Donut

The doors to Krispy Kreme's Times Square flagship store will be opening soon and exclusively at this location, donut lovers will find the Big Apple Donut. This sweet creation was inspired by the candy apples that are sold at Coney Island, and it takes the form of a donut filled with Red Delicious-flavored Kreme filling, all of which is dipped in Candied Green Apple Red icing and finished off with a red shimmer mirror glaze. To complete the donut's likeness to an actual apple, Krispy Kreme also adds a royal icing green "leaf" and lightly salted pretzel stick "stem."

Fortunately for donut lovers who find themselves in New York City, the flagship Krispy Kreme Time Square location will be open all hours of the day and night.
