Beyond Silence is a conceptual piano designed for the hearing impaired. Beyond Silence was created by a team of three Korean designers: Hakyung Kim, Jina Kim and Suyoung Lee.

Beyond Silence lets the deaf enjoy the music they are playing by converting the sound made from the keys into vibrations. The piano has a clamshell design with a digital display showing the notes for the current song. Beyond Silence also has a diaphragm mounted on its underside to increase the strength of its vibrations.

Beyond Silence is a unique concept that would help millions of people around the world enjoy the music they make. You can check out conceptual images of this innovative piano for the deaf here.
