Teaming up with Hugh Dutton Associes, Bernard Tschumi has designed a new pedestrian footbridge for La Roche-sur-Yon, France. Created in response to the new TGV rail lines in the area, the bridge allows convenient access to either side of the rails.
Putting practicalities aside for a moment, I want to bring your attention to Bernard Tschumi and Hugh Datton Associes' design. This bridge has a stunning lattice tubular design and it's something I wish I saw more of around my home town.
