The drawings take the hero garments that are usually associated with Superman or Batman and turns them into draping European clothing from the past. The apparel still has familiar nuances that relate the revised Turkish nobility to the action-packed comic originals. For example, Green Lantern, who becomes Fanus-u Ahdar, is decked in traditional green clothing and carries a stark-green Arabian lamp to identify him with his graphic novel counterpart. Sepbere-i Adem, or Batman, wears his identifying mask around his neck like an amulet and his cape becomes a hooded shroud.
