Design consultancy firm BERG has proposed a radical new redesign for the standard receipt. The BERG receipt redesign features fun facts and health information about the food you just bought.
Aside from the fun facts, the thing I like most about the BERG receipt design is the customer customization option at the bottom. This option lets shopper customize their next receipt from their store with such things as dates from their Google calendar and news headlines.
All of this innovation is owed to Icon magazine, who asked BERG to contribute to their monthly "Rethink" section in which one seemingly ordinary design is re-imagined.
