The owner of this face, intricately drawn using 21 million ink dots, brings a fascinating story with him -- his name is Benjamin Kyle and he was found unconscious behind a dumpster at a fast food restaurant in Richmond Hill, Georgia. He was severely beaten and didn't remember anything of his past, let alone his name. He was diagnosed with retrograde amnesia by the doctors who had also gave him the pseudonym Benjamin Kyle.
Kyle doesn't have a social security number, and therefore can’t work, stay at homeless shelters or let alone check out a book from the library. He is the first US citizen to be listed as missing despise his whereabouts being known. Artist Miguel Endara had spent about 138 hours on this brilliant portrait to raise awareness of his struggle, and is currently using the print sales as an aid to help find Benjamin Kyle re-acquire a social insurance number and get his life back on track.
