This Belgian Pale Ale Boasts a Dash Of Oregonian Hops

Oregon-based Steeplejack Brewing and Sunriver Brewing have banded together in order to release a delicious collaborative beer in the form of a Belgian pale ale with an added twist of local character.

Whereas Belgian pale ale is used as the foundational base upon which this beer was created, Sunriver Brewing took it upon itself to delve into its expertise and experience with hopping in order to add a combination of hops of the Amarillo, Comet and Mt. Hood varieties. The inclusion of this hops adds citrusy, tropical and arboreal notes to a beer that is built around the Admiral Maiden Voyage malt.

"We’re thrilled with the result – a harmonious and refreshing beer with layers of complexity," stated Sunriver Brewing's head brewer Patrick Raasch, Head Brewer at Sunriver Brewing. "We both enjoy hand-selecting and utilizing local ingredients, and this beer truly speaks to what our breweries love."
