Vacuum Seal Backpacks

Casper Notenboom Unveiled These Versatile Carriers at Beijing Design Week

During Beijing Design Week 2016, an annual event that takes place each fall, a revolutionary backpack model garnered substantial attention.

Created by Casper Notenboom, a creative who specializes in product and footwear design, the collection of four was made to allow items of nearly any size to be carried on one's back. In order to do this, Casper Notenboom utilizes vacuum and heat sealing, which allows the expansive material to tightly hold whatever is placed inside.

As designboom reports, the backpacks were presented as a part of 'Baitasi Remade,' which is "one of the core programs of Beijing Design Week 2016." In addition to making the model incredibly versatile in terms of packing, the material it uses is resistant to rips and tears so that its wearer doesn't need to worry about awkwardly shaped bulky items being a problem.
