The Beerscotti by The Beeroness is Baked with a Chocolate Stout

In order to avoid any nasty repercussions when it comes to boozing on an empty stomach, the Beerscotti by The Beeroness, the alias of Los Angeles-based cook and baker Jackie Dodd, offers a gerat treat that is a refreshing change from peanuts and wings. At least, refreshing for female drinkers out there.

Using Drakes Drakonic Imperial Stout, which has dry cocoa notes, as its base, the Beerscotti by The Beeroness is made with such ingredients as cocoa nibs, espresso powder and hazelnuts. The full recipe is available on Dodd's website. Although she agrees that it might seem a little crazy, she writes, "Maybe I’m trying to start a beer cookie revolution that ends with crumbs at the bottom of your pint glass. Maybe I just liked the alliteration, or maybe this just ends up working."
