Festive Bee Residences

This Bee Hotel Was Jokingly Designed to Look Like a Nightclub

This bee hotel functions as a residence for the life-sustaining insects and was designed to look like a nightclub.

The urban beehive project was designed by 'Edgy & Cheesy' and is titled 'Metbar.' It's outside looks like a small building in the form of the seedy nightclub and hotel that can be seen in real life cities. The structure's lower part is covered in miniature graffiti designs, further adding to its realistic look. It features a small slit through which bees are able to come and go while a "commercial" for the structure humorously shows the "shenanigans" that go on inside -- namely the bees mating and reproducing.

This bee hotel project works to send a message about the importance of maintaining the health and population of this species in a way that is subversive rather than feeling like a lecture.
