Wooden Superhero Sculptures

This Batman Statue is Made Entirely Out of Tree Bark

Christophe Guinet, also known as 'Monsieur Plant,' recently designed a stunning Batman statue out of tree bark. The quirky French designer is well known for his plant-based artwork, which has included projects such as a natural wooden skateboard and a pair of botanical Nike sneakers. His latest project takes on the iconic comic book superhero, Batman.

The batman statue came about as part of a collaboration between Guinet, Warner France and the Splendens Factory. The stunning sculpture features Batman in his iconic costume and mask. Each part of the sculpture is specially crafted from tree bark. As Guinet explains, "the bark is the same to the tree as the costume to the superhero."

The unique Batman sculpture manages to achieve a delicate balance between the natural environment and the mythical world of comic book characters.
