The Honda N4M Vultus 'Batbike' is Inspired by Japanimation

This Honda motorbike concept has been widely labelled 'Batbike' since it looks like something Batman would ride, but it's actually inspired by anime and manga, rather than the caped crusader.

The motorbike is far from a gimmick, however, and packs a mean punch with its 745 cc twin-cylinder engine. The engine is hooked up to a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox that sits on a steel diamond frame that, at 245 kg, is surprisingly lightweight.

Honda hasn't revealed the bike's top speed, but there's no question it will be fast. Its power-to-weight ratio stands at an impressive 225 brake horsepower per ton of weight. It's also fuel-efficient, offering 185 miles from a single 11.6 liter tank.

The Batbike is currently a concept, but is rumored to be planned for production. No word yet on whether Batman plans to pick one up.
