3D Projection Basketball Courts

The 76ers Basketball Court 3D Imaging Pumps Up Crowds Pre-Game

Joshua Harris recently purchased a 3D technology from Quince imaging in order to make the pre and post-shows on the Philadelphia 76ers basketball court more exciting. The technology turns the entirety of the basketball court into a giant screen surface, onto which 3D imagery can be projected to show off fun animations, players and epic team highlights.

This video shows the technology at work, getting the crowd excited at a Miami Heat game. In addition to Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Sixers are only the third NBA team to make use of the 3D technology so far. Since Harris also owns the New Jersey Devils, it likely won't be long until this team uses this kind of technology too.
