Barratt Homes is Creating Seed Bomb Kits to Plant Flowers

Barratt Homes is helping with an initiative to encourage wildlife in the gardens of the Aylesham Village developments. Recognizing that Britain's wildflower meadows have essentially disappeared when compared to the 30s, this aims to bring it back into fruition. Barratt Homes is creating 40 seed bomb kits that have 22 species of native wildflower seeds and sustainable compost.

This is to raise awareness of the small actions that community members could take for a larger impact, supporting local wildlife such as bees and butterflies. There are over 500 kits being offered to families throughout the South East community so that everyone can participate in the sustainable project. Online, there will also be a webinar on the Barratt HOmes YouTube channel with a horticultural expert so that families can learn more.
