Comedic Muffled Confrontations

Bane Speaks Mocks the Voice Acting of Upcoming Batman Film

Bane Speaks nails Christopher Nolan’s decision to use a muffled and distorted voice for the villain of the upcoming film Dark Knight Rises. Fans were already mocking the movies over Nolan’s decision to allow Christian Bale to use a husky voice whenever he was operating as Batman, but after audiences got a taste of Bane’s speech, many of them fear the entire movie will be inaudible, as lovingly demonstrated by this video.

Bane Speaks has Batman and Bane on a rooftop in an exchange that’s hilariously incomprehensible, as pointed out by the actress playing Commissioner Gordon. At one point, the video employs subtitles to help audiences understand what’s going on, but it quickly disintegrates into gibberish.

Will The Dark Knight Rises ultimately be as hilarious as this parody video? I guess fans will have to wait until summer 2012 to find out.
