Glittery Geometric Fashion

Shiny Silver and Black Rock the Catwalk at Balmain Fall 2009

Super short, glittery, silver, and black geometric dresses rocked the Paris runway at the Balmain RTW Fall 2009 show. The sequined minis had futuristic details such as triangular shoulders, capped sleeves and peaks placed just at the hipbone.

Dresses were sleeveless and full-length; in a few cases, a single arm was covered in sparkly silver material, like a handless opera glove.

The collection also included many 1980’s inspired pieces such as harem pants, a one-shouldered electric blue micro dress and the disco music soundtrack that set the scene.
