Space-Bound Whiskey Glasses

The Ballantine's Zero Gravity Tumblers are Made for Drinking in Space

Scottish distiller Ballantine's created these zero-gravity whiskey glasses, which allows astronauts to consume delicious spirits in outer space. The 'Space Glass' is a uniquely designed cup that uses innovative physics to secure liquid and maintain the integrity of the spirit.

Each of the whiskey glasses is lined with a rose gold and stainless steel bottom. The cup itself is comprised of a perimeter-lining straw that resembles a spiral water slide. This particular straw allows the spirit to reach the consumer's mouth regardless of the lack of gravity.

In addition, each glass is made with a magnetic bottom that ensures its security and lets the user to set it down between sips. In honor of this creative drinking vessel, the brand also created a batch of Ballantine's Space Whisky. Although consuming alcohol has been banned from the International Space Station, this clever glass can be used for other beverages as well.
