My fear of aging minimizes every time I see an awesome design like the Balance Stick. The Balance Stick is a self-balancing walking stick designed by Cheng-Tsung Feng & Yu-Ting Cheng.
The Balance Stick addresses a seemingly innocuous problem that plagues many seniors: having to pick up their walking sticks. The whole purpose of a walking stick is to aid in walking and balance, so if it fails down picking it up can be equivalent to a dance with death. Thankfully, the Balance Stick is designed to always stay upright no matter what. I need this to be a reality by the time I retire.
