Lush Disc-Like Lighting

The Babylon Pendant Lamp by Ryan Taylor is a Hanging Garden

Introducing the Babylon Pendant Lamp into the home would be like suspending a miniature jungle. Shaped like a frisbee, the hollowed-out side provides the perfect space for the lush greenery. Rising high and spilling over, the jungle will have dreamers dreaming in no time.

The Babylon Pendant Lamp was designed by Ryan Taylor of ONI Projects, a designer based in Toronto, Canada, with the help of Victoria Taylor of Landscape Architect OALA, who advised him on the planting arrangement. Made out of aluminum with a powder coated finish, the Babylon Pendant Lamp could even be home to a herb garden and hung in the kitchen. Only a limited edition of the light fixture has been produced.
