Microsoft and SpaceX Collaborate on the Launch of Azure Space

Many tech brands are turning their future-forward visions to space and many innovative examples are turning up—one of which is Azure Space which aims to offer mobile cloud computing data. The collaboration is headed by Microsoft, SpaceX, and satellite company SES.

The Azure Space initiative aims to "deliver innovation to serve the mission needs of the space industry" and "includes connecting Starlink's high speed, low-latency satellite broadband with Azure’s new Modular Datacenter (MDC)." The satellite-powered Internet connectivity will have new and enhanced offerings to public and private sectors. In a press release, Azure's Global and Industry Solution Corporate Vice President has relayed that "[they] have made a deliberate decision to work with partners to deliver our offerings to commercial and government customers."
