The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, located in the Dominican Republic has launched a new interactive dining experience titled the 'Awaken Your Senses.' This experience utilizes augmented reality displays and high-quality audio to stimulate the senses of the patrons while they enjoy their meals.
The augmented reality overlays visuals onto the entire wall surrounding the table, the top of the table itself, and the roof of the room. These displays change in real-time based on the food being served, such as changing to an oceanic view when eating seafood or changing to a vineyard while drinking wine. This experience costs $150 USD per person and seats up to 12 people with a minimum requirement of four people to book the room.
