Glam Galactic Girl Fashions

The Ladiga Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 Collection is Architectural

The Ladiga Ladiga Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 collection is the work of Latvian designer Baiba who is a graduate from the Art Academy Of Latvia. Gaining inspiration from the house and its interior, the designer blends minimalist silhouettes and sculptural accessories to create a fresh translation of futurism.

The designer spent six years living in Shanghai and was affected by the theme of individuals' daily lives both in and outside of the home. Tiles, parquet, ceramic vases and furnishings all served as visual inspiration for Ladiga's graphic sweaters, cocooned dress forms and metal-made headpieces that remind one of cartoon character Judy Jetson.

These glam, galactic fashions pay homage to the safe haven that is one's home. Mixed textures and sculptural shapes create modern looks that display a futuristic air of sophistication.
