Audi is Teaming Up with Sauber for its F1 Competition Beginning 2026

Audi announced the Audi x Sauber partnership with 'Sauber Motorsport AG,' a Swiss Formula 1 racing team. Audi stated that Sauber will become more integrated with Audi through this partnership, rather than the racing team simply using Audi vehicles and advertising the Audi name. In fact, Sauber will play a substantial role in the development, production, and design of Audi's official F1 car.

The partnership will also extend to investment, as Audi confirmed it will purchase a stake in Sauber in lieu of the partnership. Additionally, in order to adhere to Formula 1's new sustainability regulations, Audi will manufacture power units for the vehicles to supply Sauber with high-quality parts that meet regulations going forward.
