The drivers involved in the record-breaking attempt were motoring journalist Andrew Frankel and racing driver Rebecca Jackson. The pair traveled a route planned to avoid built-up regions and congested areas.

The demonstration was rather nail-biting at the end as the vehicle barely had enough fuel to reach Hungary, the 14th and final stop.
